Q: I can't get into my personal webspace. What's wrong?
A: Make sure you are using an FTP program and are logging
into ftp.ulink.net with the username and password we provided
to you. Also make sure that your username and password is
in lowercase.
Q: I forgot my Password. Help!
A: If you call our tech support toll free at 866-339-7100,
we can provide you with a new password after verifying your identity.
Q: I would like my personal webspace located on an NT server.
Can I do this?
A: Personal webspaces can only be hosted on our Unix server.
If you require NT, you can sign up for one of our Web Hosting
packages which includes a personalized domain name (www.whatever.com)
and more webspace among other things.
Q: How do I access my personal webspace to upload files?
A: Visit www.download.com
and get an FTP
client. This will allow you to access your website.
Q: How do I make a website?
A: There are many different resources on the internet
which will aid you in creating a website. There are also many
good books available. Or, our Web Team can design a professional
for you site at reasonable price.
Q: I am running out of space on my website and I need more.
What can I do?
A: If you need more webspace you can sign up for
a Domain Account which gives you an additional 35 megs plus your
own domain name. Or you can order an additional 30 megs of webspace
for 10.00 per month.
Q: All of the files on my website disappeared! Help!!!
A: We recommend that you keep a backup of your webpage
on your computer. Although we are not responsible for backing
up personal websites, we may be able to retrieve it for a
$65.00 fee. Or, you can sign up for Domain Hosting which
includes a free recovery service.
